A class monitor is a student who is chosen by the teacher to help with certain tasks and responsibilities in the classroom. Some of the roles of a class monitor are:

  1. To make sure that the classroom is clean and tidy.
  2. Assist the teacher with distributing and collecting learning materials. Such as textbooks and notebooks.
  3. Help the teacher with controlling the noise level and behavior of the students in the class.
  4. Report any problems or issues to the teacher or the school authorities.
  5. Represent the class in school events or activities.

A class monitor is expected to be a good example for other students and follow the school rules and regulations. Being a class monitor can be a rewarding and challenging experience. As it can help develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Being a class monitor can have many benefits for the students who take up this role. Some of the benefits are:
