How often is IPEDS data updated?
According to the IPEDS website. IPEDS data is updated annually by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). IPEDS conducts a series of interrelated surveys that collect data from about 6,400 colleges, universities, and technical and vocational institutions that participate in federal student aid programs. The data collection cycle is divided into three periods: fall, winter, and spring. Each period covers different survey components that capture various aspects of postsecondary education.
