Cricket World Cup 2023
The ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 will be the 13th edition of the quadrennial cricket tournament. Organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It will be hosted by India from 5 October to 19 November 2023. It was originally scheduled to take place from February to March 2023. But was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tournament will feature 10 teams, eight of which have qualified through the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, a series of matches played between 2020 and 2023. The remaining two spots will be taken by the finalists of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Which will take place in Zimbabwe in June and July 2023.

The tournament will retain the round-robin format of the previous edition, with all teams playing against each other for a total of 45 league matches. The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals, which will be played in Mumbai and Kolkata. The final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19 November 2023.
The tournament opener will see England, the defending champions, take on New Zealand in Ahmedabad on 5 October 2023. The hosts India will face off against five-time winners Australia in Chennai on 8 October 2023. The most anticipated clash between India and Pakistan will take place in Ahmedabad on 15 October 2023.
