PMDC NRE Result Step 1

The PMDC NRE Result Step 1 for August  2023 is a document that contains the names, email addresses, roll numbers, and status of the candidates who appeared for the National Registration Examination (NRE) Step 1 conducted by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on August 6, 2023. The document can be accessed from the PMDC website here. The result was announced on August 11, 2023.

According to the document, out of 105 candidates who registered for the exam, only two passed, 99 failed, two were absent, and one had their result delayed. The passing percentage was 1.9%. The NRE Step 1 is a mandatory exam for medical and dental graduates who want to practice in Pakistan. The exam tests the basic knowledge and skills of the candidates in various subjects.

Such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology & pharmacology. Microbiology, immunology, and community medicine.

The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions and lasts for four hours. The candidates need to score at least 60% marks to pass the exam. The exam is held four times a year in February, May, August, and November. The last date to apply for the next NRE Step 1 exam (November intake) is October 21, 2023. The candidates can apply online through the PMDC Student Online portal here.

How To Check PMDC NRE Result Step 1?

To check the PMDC NRE Result Step 1, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the PMDC website [here].
  2. Click on the “Examination” tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Select the “NRE Result” option from the drop-down menu.
  4. You will see a list of documents with the names of the exam sessions and dates.
  5. Find the document that says “NRE Result Step 1 August 2023” and click on it.
  6. The document will open in a new tab as a PDF file.
  7. You can view, download, or print the document at your convenience.
  8. To search for your name or roll number in the document, you can use the “Ctrl+F” keyboard shortcut and type your query in the search box that appears on the top right corner of the screen.
  9. If you find your name or roll number in the document. You can see your status (pass, fail, absent, delayed) in the last column of the table.
  10. If you do not find your name or roll number in the document. It means that you did not register for the exam or your result is not yet declared.
